Design North have been shortlisted for the North East Property Awards 2024, hosted by Insider Media. Their project Collingwood Street, the former Allied Irish Bank building which was redesign and refurbished, has been shortlisted for the ‘Design Excellence Award’ and ‘Fit-Out of the Year Award’.
Design North were responsible for the interior design of Collingwood Street, transforming the former Allied Irish Bank building into luxury apartments. The design inspiration was centred around creating a high-end and contemporary space, whilst being sympathetic to the historic building fabric and integrating traditional features throughout.
The annual property awards highlights and showcases the best and most impressive development projects from the last 12 months across the North East. The winner will be announced at the awards ceremony dinner on the 23rd May 2024, in the Hilton, Gateshead.
