Design North were enlisted to assist in the design and delivery of a new aparthotel scheme in Middlesbrough city centre.

The development has seen the creation of 42 stylish serviced apartments, designed specifically for professionals travelling for work purposes following a surge in demand for this type of accommodation. The project has been financed by Ashall Projects and is located adjacent to Middlesbrough railway station, perfect for commuters. Design North oversaw the interior design of the scheme, creating a sleek and modern interior which is both inviting and chic. A mixture of light and dark colours have been used in various areas to create different feelings within the spaces, creating appropriate backdrops for work and relaxation.

The apartment types range in size studios to two-bedrooms, each with their own cooking, dining and living facilities, making the spaces suitable for longer term visitors. A 24-hour bar, reception and dining is also available, giving the customers a range of breakout spaces and dining options.
