St James Gate
Client: Private Location: Newcastle upon Tyne
Two vacant retail units at the prestigious St James Gate near Newcastle’s central train station were given the Design North treatment.
A change of use application was applied to re-purpose the building as workplace/office use. We tested the building for different tenancy splits and we looked at ways to improve the internal environment given the deep, dark floor plate.
Design North were also tasked a providing a new look exterior approach from the main building leading up to the main Reception area for the St James Gate site.
