Dickinson Apartments, Hexham

Design North were commissioned to redesign a historic building in Hexham to create a series of luxury apartments.

Located on the vibrant Beaumont Street, Hexham, the building is a striking sandstone Victorian with sash windows and historic character overlooking Hexham Abbey. Design North redesigned the interiors of this charming building to create nine luxury apartments in a highly desirable location.

The interiors of the apartments are tasteful and sensitive, with features such as the sash windows replaced with double glazed, timber alternatives to enhance environmental performance, whilst retaining the historic grain of the street. Open plan living spaces have been created for contemporary living, with kitchens that are stylish, modelled in a shaker style with marble and brass for an opulent finish. The colour palette is neutral throughout, creating a calm and inviting environment. Bathrooms have been completed to the same high standards as the other rooms, with panelling and Victorian style fixtures creating an aesthetic which blends seamlessly with the other period features in the apartments.

These apartments have been meticulously designed and curated to create a series of elegant and luxurious homes in the heart of Hexham.
