Design North have completed another project on the iconic Grey Street in Newcastle Upon Tyne.
Located on what was voted one of the ‘greatest streets in England, if not Europe’ by Radio 4 listeners in 2010, Grey Street in Newcastle city centre is a spectacular, historic stretch of the town with many listed and historically significant buildings. Design North had the privilege of working on No. 33 Grey Street, a commercial premises.
The studio worked on the restoration and re-decoration to the communal lobby, stairwells and other communal areas along with a new vacant show floor. The building has been restored and refurbished, creating a stunning place for businesses to be located, with contemporary touches to contrast with the historic exterior.
